Kennel Cough update:  We have been seeing and hearing reports of more kennel cough cases in dogs that have been boarded at some of our local boarding kennels. To help avoid having your dog contract kennel cough, be sure your dog's vaccine is as up to date as possible.  The standard recommendation is yearly vaccination but for dogs that are boarded frequently, a 6 to 9 month interval may be appropriate.  Please ask us about this if your dog is boarded frequently and we will work out a vaccine schedule that is right for your dog.
